MISSION STATEMENT
Our goal is to equip our firefighting heroes with lifesaving equipment and tools, free of charge as quickly as money is supplied through fund raising efforts.
Equipping our Heroes Foundation is a non-profit organization whose donations are 100% tax deductible under I.R.S 501C3 guidelines and 92% (8% administration fee) of all donations go to supplying and equipping firefighters with the necessary equipment to protect themselves and the lives of others.
This foundation is made up of volunteers and no one is paid a salary or receives bonuses. The lives and property saved may be somebody you know. We thank you for all prayers, donations and support. We will quickly post all donated tools and equipment given to firefighters so that you can see your donations at work.
Nationwide, 70% of all firefighters are volunteers, with mainly little or no budget. Equipping Our Heroes Foundation will focus mainly in the beginning on rural fire stations. If you are aware of fire stations in need please contact us and as funds are raised we will contact needy fire stations throughout the Southeast.
We offer two ways for you to donate securely.You can mail a check to the address on our contact page or through Congressional District Programs by clicking the donations link.You can also assist the foundation in other ways. You can sponsor or host an event such as a golf tournament to help raise funds. If you are interested in organizing or hosting an event please email us. We appreciate any and all help you can give.

Golf Tournament
We want to thank Yeaman’s Hall Club for sponsoring the Equipping Our Heroes Foundation Golf Tournament for the second year in a row! Last year we raised over $7,000 to donate our local fire departments, and we will have the results of this year’s tournament very soon.
Thanks to all participants and we look forward to next year’s tournament!
Lake Moultrie Fire Department
In January 2010, Equipping our Heroes donated $1,717.52 to the Lake Moultrie Fire Department for a defibrillator.
Macedonia Fire Department
In December 2009, Equipping our Heroes donated $2,920 for computer software to Macedonia’s Fire Department.
Grover Fire Department
In October of 2009, Equipping our Heroes provided a grant to Grover Fire Department for $2,380.42 for safety jackets.
Macedonia Fire Department Receives Brush Truck From Golf Tournament

This brush truck was donated to the Macedonia Rural Fire Department by Equipping Our Heroes Foundation through the money raised at the Yeamans Hall Golf Tournament.

On 03/22/09, Dennis Walczuk presented the Macedonia Fire Dept $3173.69 worth of equipment on behalf of Euipping Our Heroes Foundation.

Caromi, Lebanon and Santee Circle Fire Department
On 11/13/08, Dennis presented to Caromi, Lebanon and Santee Circle Fire Department $7548.35 worth of equipment on behalf of Equipping our Heroes Foundation. The equipment included radio communication devices, a portable defibulator and kevlar rope kits. Christ our King Church (Mt.Pleasant)donated chairs, Second Presbyterian Church (downtown Charleston)donated tables and Low Country Casual Furniture(Mt.Pleasant) also donated new chairs for the Santee Circle training center.
Caromi Fire Dept
Equipping Our Heroes Foundation presented to Captain Marcqus Bush a check for $2798.22 for kevlar ropes and miscellaneous equipment to their fire department on 9/27/09 at the Caromi Fire Department.
