MISSION STATEMENT
Our goal is to equip our firefighting heroes with lifesaving equipment and tools, free of charge as quickly as money is supplied through fund raising efforts.
Equipping our Heroes Foundation is a non-profit organization whose donations are 100% tax deductible under I.R.S 501C3 guidelines and 92% (8% administration fee) of all donations go to supplying and equipping firefighters with the necessary equipment to protect themselves and the lives of others.
This foundation is made up of volunteers and no one is paid a salary or receives bonuses. The lives and property saved may be somebody you know. We thank you for all prayers, donations and support. We will quickly post all donated tools and equipment given to firefighters so that you can see your donations at work.
Nationwide, 70% of all firefighters are volunteers, with mainly little or no budget. Equipping Our Heroes Foundation will focus mainly in the beginning on rural fire stations. If you are aware of fire stations in need please contact us and as funds are raised we will contact needy fire stations throughout the Southeast.
We offer two ways for you to donate securely. You can mail a check to the address on our contact page or through Congressional District Programs by clicking the donations link. You can also assist the foundation in other ways. You can sponsor or host an event such as a golf tournament to help raise funds. If you are interested in organizing or hosting an event please email us. We appreciate any and all help you can give.
